Chief Minister saluted the forefathers who spread national consciousness in Chhattisgarh, including the great freedom fighters who awakened the spirit of freedom in the country. He said that freedom gained through struggles is priceless; every citizen must work to keep it whole. The Chief Minister said that the State Government is moving to realize the vision of 'Garhbo Nava Chhattisgarh' with Gandhian thinking. The government priority is to empower the most vulnerable sections of the society, strengthen villages and provide basic facilities to every individual. The state government's schemes for the poor, farmers, women and children are showing definite results.
The Chief Minister said that to strengthen the rural economy in the state, the government has implemented public welfare schemes like Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, Godhan Nyay Yojana. Selected Kharif crops of the state are under the purview of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. The Tree Plantation Promotion Scheme was also implemented for environmental protection.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that the country is fighting the biggest tragedy since independence. The Covid crisis is not over yet. To win this global challenge, we need strong willpower, cooperation and precaution.
