Raipur: Chhattisgarh health minister TS Singh Deo discussed in detail regarding the strategy of upcoming elections of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) and circumstances at the regional level with party members at a meeting held in Agartala on Thursday.
Singh Deo has been appointed as senior AICC observer for overseeing Election Campaign Management and Coordination in the upcoming Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (ADC) elections in Tripura.
After reaching Agartala on Friday, the minister met senior members of Tripura Congress and attended the Congress meeting. He got information about the Congress Party's plan and organization's policies in the meeting. Following this, he participated in the press conference.
Health Shri TS Singh Deo said that every state and region has a different situation, according to which the works are done. He added that the situation in Tripura about women's safety is a matter of concern and in Tripura which is known for harmony, communalism is being promoted and efforts are being made to break our solidarity.
Along with this, the minister also raised questions on employment opportunities. He said that along with farming, rubber and bamboo works are famous in Tripura, through which self-employment can be created. Questioning the policies of the BJP-ruled government of Tripura, he said that the Rs10, 000 policy for the ration card is pretty sad, if a guest comes to your state and wants to get a ration card for which Rs 10,000 have to be paid, then it is painful.
