 Janjgir Champa district residents pays tribute to martyred Jawan Deepak Bhardwaj

Raipur: Janjgir Champa district residents are paying tribute to Jawan Deepak Bhardwaj, who was killed in the Naxal attack in Bijapur. The villagers are paying tribute to the martyred Jawan will tears in their eyes.

Deepak Bhardwaj hailing from village Pahrid in Malkharoda block of the district was martyred during the encounter of police and Naxalites in Bijapur. He joined the police force with great patriotism to serve his motherland. He joined the police force on September 16, 2013.

Bhardwaj, currently posted as Sub Inspector in Kutru police station, was taking on the Naxalites in a police-Naxalite encounter happened in Jonaguda forest of Bijapur on Saturday. Many police personnel were martyred in the encounter. The family members and villagers couldn’t believe on the news of his martyrdom.  

Family members of martyr Deepak have left the village to take the body. People are paying tributes to the martyred Jawan at different places across the district.

Shaheed Jawan Deepak Bhardwaj was married a year ago. Currently, he lived in Kutru, Bijapur with his wife. He has two younger brothers and a sister. Father Radhelal Bhardwaj is a teacher by profession. Being a promising son, Deepak also took over the responsibility of home family.

The mortal remains of the soldiers who were martyred in an encounter with the Naxalites are being evacuated from the site of the incident. The mortal remains of the martyred jawans will first be brought to Jagdalpur. The mortal remains of Shaheed Deepak will reach the home village of Pahrid after paying homage with honor in Jagdalpur on Monday.
