Raipur: Raipur district collector Saurabh Kumar has directed all the sub-divisional officers of the district, the officers of the revenue and agriculture department to ensure that farmers should not face any kind of problem for registration in the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. He has said that no provision has been made by the state government for any notarized application for the registration of farmers under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana.
He has said that all the officers should ensure that the application provided by the farmer is self-attested and verified by the Agricultural Extension Officer is sufficient for the registration of the farmers. No notarized application is to be taken from farmers for registration.
Meanwhile, under the scheme, the registration of joint account holder farmers will be done in the name of numberdar. For this, the farmers concerned will have to submit the consent-cum-affidavit and other necessary records of all the account holders along with the application form. The input assistance amount will be transferred to the account of the registered farmer (Numberdar) and the distribution of input assistance amount will be done with the mutual agreement among the farmers. The Collector has said that apart from the documents required for registration in the scheme, no documents should be demanded from farmers.
