Raipur: Amidst political uncertainties in Chhattisgarh, Janata Congress Chhattisgarh (JCCJ) leader and Kota MLA has reached New Delhi to meet Congress president Sonia Gandhi.
Although it is being described as a courtesy meeting. As per sources JCCJ is now talking about merging with Congress. This meeting is seen giving a new angle to the developments amid the political boom in Chhattisgarh. It is also being seen as a political move in the state's struggle for power.
At present, there are 7 MLAs of Janata Congress in the state and it is difficult even for political pundits to assess the way the matter will go. Meanwhile, Bhupesh Baghel has also reached New Delhi to meet the top leaders.
