Raipur: BJP leader Gourishankar Srivas has leveled allegations of corruption against Indira Gandhi Agricultural University vice chancellor alleging that irregularities are being done in the tenders being floated by the university. He has also demanded an action against the same.
Srivas has alleged that even after coming to know about all the matters, the state finance secretary, registrar and controller have not taken any action yet. Vice-Chancellor Patil and the Superintendent of Physical Plants Department have twisted all the rules and regulations in the tender in a planned manner to give tender to their favorite firm in the Incubation center being made in the university. Agriculture minister Ravindra Choubey has been kept in the dark in the whole matter.
All the documents have proved that the university has become a den of corruption under the patronage of vice chancellor Patil. He has demanded an inquiry into the whole matter and action against the culprits.
