Raipur: Chhattisgarh DGP DM Awasthi visited 21st Battalion Chhasbal Karkabhat of Balod district on Sunday. During his visit, the stone wall built in the battalion (which was named Wall of 21st Century) and the entrance gate and barracks for gazetted and non-gazetted officers were inaugurated. Sandalwood trees were planted in the garden in front of the barracks.
Awasthi encouraged the officials and employees present. The grievances of the officers and employees were also resolved quickly and the cooperation of the Police Headquarters was assured in the progressive development of the battalion.
21st Battalion Commandant Darshan Singh Maravi was apprised for his works done in the battalion. After this, the stone wall built in the battalion, whose length is 300 meters, thickness 2 feet 2 inches, height 8 feet which has been built by the officers and employees of the Corps from March to June at the time of Covid-19 lockdown was appraised by the Superintendent of Police Balod Sadanand.
Additional Superintendent of Police Daulat Ram Porte, Deputy Fighter 14th Battalion RP Pradhan were present on the occasion.
