Raipur: MLA Shailesh Pandey has raised question on sewerage project in Bilaspur city which is yet to be completed saying that the project has become a canker sore and no meaningful and concrete structure has not come up out of it so far.
He asked the Urban Administration Minister, how much the contractor company has been paid so far in the ongoing sewerage project in Bilaspur city. Besides, how many kilometers of pipeline has been laid. He also sought information on when and how much work has been done on the basis of hydraulic testing contract.
Replying to the questions raised by MLA, urban administration minister Dr Shivkumar Dahariya told that till now Rs 379 crore have been paid to the contractor company in the project, and a total of 235 km of pipeline has been laid. He also informed that hydraulic testing has been done between February 28, 2019 to April 20, 2019 on contract basis.
He further informed that Shiv Dhariari informed that the sewerage treatment plant at Chilhati has a capacity of 17 MLD and the sewerage treatment plant at Domuhani Butapara has a capacity of 54 MLD.
