Raipur: A lecturer of state-run Eklavya Model Residential School of Karpavand-Bakawand in tribal Bastar district of Chhattisgarh will receive a national award from the Government of India for his outstanding work.
Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education, Government of India has declared the list of National Awards to be given to teachers for the year 2021.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and school education minister Dr Premsai Singh Tekam have congratulated Pramod Kumar Shukla for being selected for the National Award and gave their best wishes for his future endeavors. Meanwhile, Eklavya Model Residential School is run by the Tribal and Scheduled Caste Welfare Department in the state. Students from far-flung remote areas and the tribal belt of the state, where the medium of learning is limited, pursue their education from these schools.
