Former Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh questions the Government on Gupkar Alliance.

Dispatch News.

Raipur. Taking a dig at the Bhupesh Baghel government, BJP national Vice-President Dr Raman Singh said that the Congress has always supported seditious activities. He questioned Congress on their double standards regarding Article 370 in Kashmir and Gupkar Alliance.

The former Chief Minister during the press conference said that Farooq Abdullah had asked China's help to restore former status to Jammu and Kashmir. Mehbooba Mufti has said that the national flag should not fly to protest article 370. Dr Raman Singh declared that Congress's assertion that it is not the part of the Gupkar Alliance is absurd and beyond logic. Congress was and is still a part of the secret declaration, and is contesting elections alongside parties who are part of this secretive declaration. Congress leaders Gulam Nabi Azad and P. Chidambaram openly speak of restoring article 370.

The former Chief Minister also targeted Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on his statement of taking action against BJP leaders on the matter of 'Love Jihad'. He said that the Chief Minister does not know the meaning of 'Love Jihad', which is different from mutual consent and is coercive. Many states are enacting laws in this regard, and there should be a system to prevent this.

The BJP Vice-President also countered Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu on rising lawlessness in the state. He asserted that since the police are engaged in some other work, therefore crimes are increasing. He alleged that illicit liquor is sold openly in the state with the government's consent, and so is gambling and speculation.
