Bilaspur. The police have arrested Moti Tharwani, the Block Congress president, who verbally abused and snatched the mobile of a constable from Maharashtra. Recently, the Block Congress President of the Torwa area, Moti Tharwani, hit a constable with his vehicle. He then snatched the mobile and verbally abused the constable. When the constable on duty, Ramkumar Rajak, protested, the Block Congress President tried to beat him. As soon as the police registered the case, the said Congress leader fled the city fearing arrest. The police kept raiding his house and possible locations for three consecutive days. He switched off his mobile phone but was constantly talking to his wife through a different mobile number. Based on the mobile number location found in collaboration with Cyber ​​Cell, Tarbah SI Prashant Sinha went to Nagpur with the staff. The team wandered here and there for five days because the accused changed the mobile number continuously. On Saturday, they caught the absconding Moti Tharwani in Kamthi, Nagpur. Late in the evening, the police team reached the city with the accused. The police will present him in the court on Sunday after arresting him under sections 186, 353, 332, 294, 506.

The accused Block Congress President had fled to Gondia on the second day of the incident. Following the mobile number, the team went to Gondia, and the mobile number got switched off. After that, he took out the said SIM and talking from another SIM. The SIM indicated that he was in Kirora. When the police team went to Kirora, the number got switched off. He started using the third number near Bhandara. The police traced this number and followed along the Nagpur Highway. In Mohda Toll Plaza, that mobile number also got switched off. When the police checked the CCTV footage at the toll plaza, the accused was in a car. Based on the information received from the vehicle owner, the police arrested him from the house of the relative of the accused in Kamthi.
