Nearly 44 surrendered Naxalites to take part in I-Day parade in Rajnandgaon

Raipur: Nearly 44 surrendered Naxalites from different districts of the state including Rajnandgaon will participate in the freedom parade to be held in the city on August 15.

Many Naxalites, who have been part of the Naxalite organization for years after adopting Naxal ideology after being influenced by the rehabilitation policy of the government have adopted the path of surrender and have returned to the mainstream of the society.

The ex-surrendered Naxalites are being trained for the programme and will be included in the parade. Also, these days basic training is being given to become constables in Police Training School, Rajnandgaon. Additional Superintendent of Police, Rajnandgaon Naxal Operation Jaiprakash Badhai said that the former Naxalites who surrendered after being influenced by the rehabilitation policy of the government are being given police training under the scheme, who will also be a part of the upcoming Independence Day parade. This will inculcate the feeling of patriotism in them.

Former surrendered Naxalites who are taking training to become constables in Police Training School are also getting training for the parade with enthusiasm. After this, by joining the parade of freedom, they will salute the national flag symbolizing the pride and glory of the country and will pay homage to the brave sons who laid down their lives for the motherland.
