Raipur: School education minister Dr Premsai Singh Tekam on Sunday declared the results of Higher Secondary Certificate Main Exam 2021 and Higher Secondary Vocational Examination 2021 organized by Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE).
The minister congratulated the students for clearing the exams and wished them bright future ahead. He said that failure is the key of success. Hence, the students who could not pass the exams should not get disheartened and rather work harder to achieve success. The minister also appraised efforts of all the officials involved in conducting the examinations and declaration of results.
School Education Minister informed that in the high school certificate main exam 2021 organized by CGBSE, a total of 2, 89,023 candidates registered. Out of which, 2, 86,850 candidates appeared in the examination. Results of total of 2, 84, 107 students have been declared passed, out of whom, 1, 53, 546 are girls and 1, 30, 561 are boys. A total of 2,76,817 students have passed the examination. The total pass percentage is recorded to be 97.43 per cent in which pass percentage of girls is 98.06 per cent while a total of 96.69 per cent of boys have cleared the exam this year.
The minister informed that result of 2,402 candidates has been rejected while those of 341 candidates have been withheld due to various reasons.
While declaring the results of Vocational Certificate Exam (Main) 2021, the minister informed that a total of 11 candidates registered the exam and all have appeared and cleared the examination. The pass percentage was recorded to be 100 per cent this year.
Meanwhile, a total of 2, 77, 563 candidates had enrolled for higher secondary school certificate exam 2020, out of which 2, 75, 736 had appeared for the exam. Results of 2, 75, 495 candidates has been declared. Number of candidates who have passed the exams is 2, 16, 526 i.e. 78.59%.
