Raipur: A guard of honour was given to former chief minister of undivided Madhya Pradesh Motilal Vora at Rajiv Bhavan in the state capital on Tuesday. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel along with other cabinet ministers paid tribute to the late Vora on the occasion.
On this occasion, Public Works and Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu, Panchayat and Rural Development Minister TS Singh Deo, Agriculture and Water Resources Minister Ravindra Choubey, Tribal and Scheduled Caste Development, School Education Minister Dr Premsai Singh Tekam, Commerce and Industry Minister Kawasi Lakhma, Urban Administration Minister Dr Shiv Kumar Dahriya, Women and Child Development Minister Anila Bhendiya, Revenue Minister Jaysingh Agarwal, Higher Education Minister Umesh Patel, Culture and Food Minister Amarjit Bhagat along with Parliamentary Secretaries, MLAs, Presidents of Corporations, many public representatives and a large number of citizens paid tribute to Vora.
Meanwhile, Chhattisgarh governor Anusuiya Uikey Governor reached Durg and paid floral tribute to the mortal remains of former chief minister and prayed to God for the peace of his soul. The governor met his family and comforted them.
Former chief minister of undivided Madhya Pradesh Motilal Vora passed away at the age of 93 on Monday at Escorts hospital in New Delhi.
