The Government extends Lockdown till 15 May. Raipur-Durg gets some additional exemptions.

Raipur. The state government has extended the lockdown period to May 15. In this period, the Bastar division will have a strict lockdown as a new variant was found, which is highly contagious. The administration has sealed the borders.

There are two categories of exemptions, A and B. Raipur and Durg will have exemptions under both. However, the entire state will have a strict lockdown on Sunday.

Apart from Raipur and Durg, Repair shops, agricultural shops, home delivery of groceries, Daily Needs (only within the locality) will remain open. Courier service, electric, plumber and allied shops, petrol pumps will provide services for everyone. Poultry, meat, flour mill will also be operational. The registry office will open with a fifty per cent workforce while the PWD and irrigation will work till 5 pm.

Additionally, Raipur-Durg will also Stationary, Bike Repair,  hotel delivery, and laundry services. The private construction sector will be operational. Shopping centres, school colleges, schools, liquor shops, tourist areas, roadside shops, mandis, parks, gyms will remain closed all over the state.
