Raipur: Chhattisgarh High Court stayed PSC Mains examinations which were going to be held on October 18.
Udayan Dubey and others moved the High Court challenging questions asked in PSC Pre Examinations 2020.
While hearing of the matter on Thursday, the bench of Justice Gautam Bhaduri said that the petitions filed by candidates appearing for the PSC Pre Exam are still being heard and hence it is not appropriate to conduct the Mains examination. Therefore the mains examinations will be postponed till further orders.
Meanwhile, as many as 24 candidates have filed a petition in the High Court regarding the 8 questions asked in the PSC Pre Exam held in February 2020. It has been stated by the petitioners that the answers of these 8 questions were correct as per Model Answer. However, they were declared incorrect in the revised Model Answer released later. The petitioners have challenged this move of Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission in the High Court.
