Raipur: Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday inspected Anganwadi Center Tawadbra and Government Primary School Tawadbra in Gaurela development block of Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi district.
On the occasion, the chief minister announced the construction of three new rooms in the Government Primary School, Tawadbra. Baghel interacted with the students of Government Primary School Tawadbra with great affinity and inquired about their studies in the school. He distributed pen-pencils, notebooks to the children and boosted their morale. Besides, he asked the children what subjects they were being taught in the school, to which the children responded enthusiastically and confidently.
He also interacted with various beneficiaries of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, and informed them about the benefits as well as the new provisions of the scheme. The registration of beneficiaries under Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Krishi Bhumiheen Mazdoor Nyay Yojana has started in the state from today. He collected the application forms from the beneficiaries of this scheme for their registration. He informed that an annual grant amount of Rs 6,000 will be deposited in the bank accounts of landless agricultural laborers. He appealed the landless laborers to get themselves registered to take advantage of this scheme.
On this occasion, the chief minister formally inaugurated the 'National Nutrition Month' during the inspection of Anganwadi Center Tawadbra under Gaurela Block. He interacted affectionately with small children and inquired about the midday meal.
