Raipur: Lemru police has arrested four people in connection with the murder of a Pahadi Korwa man and two children in Garh Uproda village.
As per police sources, as many as six people gang-raped the Pahadi Korwa woman and killed her afterward. The locals informed the Lemru Police about the dead bodies of three people in the forest of village Garh Uproda village, under Lemru police station, at around 12 noon on Tuesday. A police team was rushed on the spot for further investigations.
Police said that the three bodies were identified as Jhadkiram Korva aged about 55 years, Satyavati Bai and Nanki Bai aged about 16 years. During the investigation, it was found that Jhadkiram used to graze cow in the house of Santram Yadav, a resident of Korranga village. On Tuesday, he was going to his home village Barpani from village Satrenga with his daughter and granddaughter. During this, Santram Yadav, Abdul Jabbar, Anil Sarathi, Pardeshiram, Anant Das and Umashankar Yadav killed the three by crushing them with stones and escaped from the spot.
The police arrested Abdul Jabbar, Anil Sarathi, Umashankar Yadav, and Santram Yadav in the case. Pardeshiram and Anant Das are yet to be arrested.
According to the sources, the six accused gang-raped the minor in front of her father. After the incident, the teenager kept fighting between life and death in the forest for 4 days. After executing the incident, the youth attacked the man and both her minor girls with stones. After this, the youth assumed them dead and hid them among the stones, and escaped. Meanwhile, for three days, the minor teenager kept fighting between life and death. She died after reaching the hospital.
