Raipur: Results of Higher Secondary School Certificate Main Examination 2021, conducted by Chhattisgarh State Open School, were declared online on Saturday by School Education Minister Dr Premsai Singh Tekam.
Passing percentage was 98.20 percent, including 98.30% for the girls and 98.12% for the boys. On this occasion, school education principal secretary Dr. Alok Shukla, state open school secretary Professor VK Goel and officers-staff were present.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and School Education Minister Dr Premsai Singh Tekam have congratulated the students for passing with flying colours and have wished them a bright future.
Out of the 79, 764 candidates who were registered for the higher secondary certificate main examination conducted by Chhattisgarh State Open School, 78, 164 candidates appeared in the examination. Results of 115 candidates were withheld due to various reasons. Under the RTD scheme, 16, 608 candidates had appeared in the examination.
Result of the remaining 61, 511 candidates was declared. The total number of passed candidates is 60, 409 and the result was 98.20 per cent. The number of failed candidates is 1102, which is 1.8 per cent of the total declared result. The number of candidates who have passed in the first division is 52, 304. The number of candidates who have passed in the second division is 6, 982 and the number of candidates who have passed in the third division is one thousand 119. Four candidates have been declared passed in the pass category.
The result is available on Chhattisgarh State Open School Website http://www.sos.cg.nic.in. This year because of COVID-19 crisis, the examination was conducted online and students had to take the exam from home. Students who have failed can reappear in the examination by submitting the application form for the upcoming examination at their study center.
