
Raipur: Health minister TS Singh Deo on Monday chaired
a meeting of the health department at Vishram Bhawan here in Civil Lines. During the
meeting, the minister reviewed the budget of the health department, the number of
ambulances and beds in hospitals, infrastructure development, and other
departmental works with senior officials of the department. He also gave proper
guidelines and directions to the officials concerned while reviewing the scenario
of the corona pandemic in Chhattisgarh district wise.
Meanwhile, through a telephonic conversation, the minister spoke to the staff of Jagdalpur district hospital including Deepika Thakur, Kuchriti Vajpayee, a radiographer, Laxmi Tandia, a nursing staff, Tanuja Patra, a matron, and Lakshmi Mandavi, a staff nurse regarding any adverse effects of the corona vaccine after vaccination. The staff informed that they are completely fine and have not faced any problem so far. They said that they felt a bit of pain at the injection site for some time; while no other problems were reported to the workers during the vaccination. Besides, they were not even afraid to get their shot of vaccine. Civil Surgeon cum Chief Hospital Superintendent District Hospital Jagdalpur said that no patient has been admitted to the hospital so far due to an adverse reaction to vaccine so far. All the doctors and staff who have been vaccinated are performing their duties without any difficulty.
