Raipur: The Covid-19 pandemic has caused delay in recruitment for miscellaneous government posts, however, the state government is gearing up to start recruitment process of sub inspector and constable soon.

In his statement in this regard, home minister Tamradhwaj Sahu said that the recruitment process of Police Sub Inspector and Constable will proceed soon. Replying to a question whether the process will be completed this year, the minister said that he cannot comment on this yet, it may take time. During this pandemic time many things get affects the process.

Speaking on the Naxalism issue, the minister said that we want to find a solution through development in the Naxal-affected areas. The road for discussion has never been closed from our side. The same thing was discussed in the cabinet meeting also. Weapons should be released by throwing plow in the hands of Naxalites. Now we are reaching into the bastions of Naxalites, their interiors. That's why their anger is coming to the fore.

In the matter of releasing 7 villagers, home minister said that information has been received that the villagers have been released. It was a matter of Jagargunda police station area. They were released after talks with the society and the villagers. After several attempts, all have been sent back safely. The primary information is that he was kidnapped on the suspicion of an informer. After a day or two, the people of the department will discuss with the villagers. The situation will be clear only after discussion.
