Durg-Bhilai. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel made some big announcements on the occasion of Guru Ghasidas Jayanti today. Addressing a program organized by Guru Ghasidas Seva Samiti in Sector 6, Bhilai, the Chief Minister announced the establishment of a research centre and museum in Naya Raipur in the name of Guru Ghasidas. He also made an announcement about the opening of a new diagnostic centre, named after Mini Mata.
The Chief Minister also proclaimed the inauguration of the Panthi Dance Award at the State Foundation Day celebrations in memory of late Devdas Banjare, a notable Panthi dancer. Also, he announced the creation of two-hundred capacity residential hostel to facilitate students of scheduled castes in the capital in competitive examination.
Two hundred and fifty years ago, Guru Ghasidas gave the message of non-violence and truth. Mahatma Gandhi gave freedom to the country by following the principles of non-violence and truth. When Baba Saheb Ambedkar formulated our Constitution, he embraced the spirit of equality in the Constitution. The Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh is following the model shown by Guru Ghasidas.
"Chhattisgarh is egalitarian. We all live here with love and harmony. Baba Guru Ghasidas has given us the message of love, non-violence, truth and compassion, following these messages, Chhattisgarh is moving forward on the path of progress and development." On this occasion, Urban Administration Minister Dr Shiv Kumar Dahria said that Chhattisgarh is following the ideals shown by Guru Ghasidas and Baba Saheb Ambedkar.
On this occasion Bhilai MLA and Mayor Devendra Yadav, President of Chhattisgarh State Scheduled Caste Development Authority, Bhuneshwar Baghel and other public representatives were present.
