Raipur: The second wave of Covid-19 has seen more dangerous and showing large number of cases and symptoms due to the infection .The situation in the state is becoming uncontrollable and frightening. Governance and administration are fighting the battle against Corona with full swing. It is being told that since the beginning of the Covid-19 epidemic, the Chhattisgarh government has allocated more than Rs 853 crore from various measures to control the pandemic. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has appealed to the administrative staff to serve the people with humanity and strong will. He has assured that there will be no shortage of resources of any kind in the state during this tough time of Covid.
From past one year, Rs 73.53 crore has been allocated to all 28 districts from the Chief Minister’s relief fund to deal with Corona. Apart from this, Rs. 300 crores is sanctioned for investigation, medicines and other consumables besides rs. 192 crores has released under State Disaster Relief Fund, Rs. 185 crores of NABARD assistance, Rs. 25 crores of Public Works Department, Rs. 78 crores of center-state involvement. Thus, financial assistance has been provided for all the necessary activities from investigation to development of Covid hospitals, care of patients, medicine, and nutrition.
Observing the seriousness of the situation, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has given strict instructions for multi-layered and multi-faceted efforts to the concerned officials.
So far, 4, 18,678 people have been infected by Corona in the state. According to the latest figures, 3, 37,156 people have been also cured so far. 2,622 new patients have been found in Raipur city only in a single day. State capital alone now has 18,660 active patients found so far. Talking about the entire state, there are 76,868 active patients reported.
