Seven students of Prayas Government Boys Residential School Raipur clears NDA entrance exam

Raipur: Seven students of Prayas Government Boys Residential School, Raipur, have cleared in the National Defence Academy (NDA) Exam.

This exam is conducted by UPSC in which written test is taken first. After selection in the written test, these 7 students will take part in the interview process to be taken by Defense Ministry Services Selection Board for job in Indian Army, Water and Air Force. The seven students include Soumy Gopal, Manish Sahu, Tushar Dhruv, Amol Kumar Urkude, Sunil Kerketta, Rahul Kumbhakara and Womesh Ratre. Of these, Amol Kumar Urkude and Rahul have secured a place in the NIT in this session. Sunil Kerketta and Womesh Ratre have also secured seat in IIT through JEE ADVANCED.

Administrative officer CL Bhaya appreciated the efforts of the school and students saying that this effort will attract the youth of Chhattisgarh state for recruitment in these three armies.
