Raipur: The state government has announced reopening schools for classes 6th, 7th, 9th, and 11th in all private and government schools from Thursday.
An order in this regard has been issued by the department of school education today. It has been made mandatory to get the recommendation of the concerned Gram Panchayat and the parent committee of the school for rural areas in relation to starting classes of classes 6th, 7th, 9th and 11th in all private and government schools under the school education department. For urban areas, it is necessary to get the recommendation of the concerned ward councilor and the parent committee of the school.
As per the guidelines, these classes will be started in those districts where the positivity rate of the corona has been less than 1 per cent for 7 days. Students will be called for offline classes at the interval of one day, that is, only half the number of students will be called daily. If any student has cold, cough, fever he/she will not be allowed to sit in the class. Online classes will continue to be conducted as per the order. Attendance will not be mandatory for any student.
It has been asked to ensure instructions to prevent corona infection issued from time to time by the central government and the state government besides maintaining proper cleanliness in the classrooms.
