The consumer will also get the information about the registration of the complaint through SMS. Via Google Map, the electrician will reach the consumer's premises directly. The consumer will get confirmation through SMS as soon as power is improved. If a complaint related to the transformer comes through the system will automatically take cognizance of the transformer and inform the concerned person through SMS so that the repair work can begin promptly. This version of the app also has a points-based system to encourage the officers and employees of the concerned party to expedite the work related to power improvement.

There is also a provision of bonus points for employees if they resolve the complaint before the scheduled time. Presently, about 38 lakh consumers of Chhattisgarh are getting the benefit of this scheme. The app allows the consumer to know the units consumed in the last two years, month-wise, as well as the payments made. The tariff currently implemented will also be available through the app. Consumers will now be able to take photos of their meter readings and send them to the electricity department through 'Mor Bijlee App' so that the department can settle the complaints related to meter reading.
