LoP Dharamlal Kaushik questions the proceedings on revenue nomination against the rules in village Pendridih

Raipur: Leader of Opposition in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Dharamlal Kaushik questioned the proceedings on the nomination of revenue against the rules in village Pendridih of his constituency. In response, Revenue Minister Jai Singh Aggarwal clarified that Tehsildar Satyapal Pratap Rai has been suspended with immediate effect, while the record is being maintained with halka patwari.


The LoP questioned revenue minister Leader of Opposition Bilha MLA Dharamlal Kaushik questioned the whether the 22acres of land with Khasra no 249, 219, 278 and 256 located in village Pendridih of Bilha development block of Bilaspur district has been transferred by the Tehsildar in the name of a private person? If yes, when and to whom is the order passed by the Tehsildar? Besides, he also questioned that what action has been taken on the complaints received in this regard. 


Answering his question, the revenue minister said that as per the orders issued by the Tehsildar, the land has been transferred on the names of Abdul Haleem Khan, Hitesh Makhiza, Gaurav Chandani, Avinash Peshwani and Shivshankar Singh Thakur.


He further added that a complaint has been received in this regard from Gram Panchayat Pendridih Sarpanch Shiv Kumar Ghidore and Leader of Opposition Dharamlal Kaushik. Bilha Tehsildar Satyapal Pratap Rai has been suspended with immediate for violation of relevant Rules.
