'Tuhar Sarkar, Tuhar Dwar' one of its kind of service across India for the Transport Department: CM Baghel

Raipur: To enhance the convenience of people, the Chhattisgarh Government has started a unique facility 'Tuhar Sarkar, Tuhar Dwar'.Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel virtually introduced it for the Transport Department in a  program organized at his residence office on Tuesday.


This is one of its kind of service across India has been proving by the CM Baghel to the ease of citizens of the state. Through this new facility, transport services will be delivered by the Transport Department to the people of the state at their doorstep. These services include a smart card-based driving license and 22 transport services related to the registration certificate. These services will be delivered to the home addresses of applicants and vehicle owners through speed post. Applicants have to apply on www.parivahan.gov.in to get the benefit of this service.


The facility being launched by the Transport Department would provide 10 services related to license including duplicate license, driving license renewal, and change of address and 12 services related to vehicles including ownership transfer and change of address will be delivered to the applicant's home. Registration of new vehicles, amendment of old vehicles to RCC, new driving license, and changes in old license after driving license and registration certificate (RC) will be available directly to registered address through Speed ​​Post of India, in the duration of maximum 7 days. It will be done while dispatching them by the department, SMS will be sent to the given address of the applicants along with the tracking ID of the speed post so that the applicants can get the commodity status and information regarding this. In case the applicant is not available at home, the applicant will be informed of delivery through SMS.


Cases to be received from applicants related to vehicle such as new registration of motor vehicles, transfer of ownership, alternation of motor vehicle, change of address in the registered card, change in a motor vehicle, fresh RC of finance, hypothecation addition-continuance-cancellation, second key of the registered card, registration number, re-assignment, renewal of registration will be approved by the registering officer after necessary examination of documents by the transport office and necessary inspection of vehicles as per the provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act. For the smooth operation of this new system, a helpline number has also been generated; 75808-08030. It is being issued by the Transport Department. Through this helpline, applicants can get information regarding the dispatch of smart card-based driving license and registration certificate after approval to the transport offices.


By this facility, transportation services will be provided immediately by authentication on a voluntary basis. Similarly, online medical certificates will be issued for driving licenses. With the launch of this service, Chhattisgarh has become the first state in the country whose transport department is integrating the driving license and registration-related services with Aadhaar Card.


State Transport Minister Mohammad Akbar presided over the program. On this occasion, MP Deepak Baije, Advisor to the Chief Minister Rajesh Tiwari, Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Additional Chief Secretary of Home Department Subrata Sahu, Transport Commissioner Kamal Preet Singh, Additional Transport Commissioner Dipanshu Kabra were present. Transport department officials from various districts of the state also joined the program as well.
