Raipur. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, on the occasion of State Foundation Day, will transfer Rs 1500 crore in the account of 18 lakh 38 thousand 592 farmers of the state, as the third instalment of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyaya Yojana. For sufficient investment in the agriculture sector and relief in tenant cost, the Government of Chhattisgarh is providing support to the farmers under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. Under this scheme, farmers will receive a total of three thousand crores through direct benefit transfer (DBT). They will receive a total of Rs 5750 crore in four instalments.

On November 1, Chief Minister Baghel, under Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, will deposit a total of Rs 463 crore 86 lakh as the third instalment in the account of 5 lakh 60 thousand 794 farmers of Raipur division. Similarly, 5 lakh 57 thousand 303 farmers of Durg division, will receive an amount of 428 crores 13 lakh rupees. Farmers of Bilaspur, Sarguja, and Bastar will also benefit from this scheme.

Among the farmers benefiting from this scheme, there are 9 lakh 55 thousand 531 marginal farmers, 5 lakh 61 thousand 523 small farmers and 3 lakh 21 thousand 538 big farmers. Under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, currently, the farmers of paddy, maize and sugarcane receive an amount. The implementation of this scheme started in the Kharif season of 2019.
