Raipur. Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Amarjeet Bhagat spoke to Surguja District Collector on receiving information regarding the shortage of fertilizers and urea. Yesterday one rack of urea arrived, its distribution has begun, and today another half will come. Minister Amarjeet Bhagat told the collector that the farmers should receive it immediately.
Minister Amarjeet Bhagat said, “If there is a slight delay in getting urea and fertilizers to the farmers, it affects the production and quality of the crop. Keeping this fact in view, the administration is ensuring the distribution of fertilizers and urea immediately.
Along with this, Minister Amarjeet Bhagat said, “The central government also plays a role in providing urea and fertilizers. Chhattisgarh has not been provided urea in sufficient quantity by the Central Government itself. However, here I do not want to get into the politics of accusation and counter-accusation. I want the farmers to get urea on time. It is my endeavour that the farmers should not face any problem. That is why we are trying to provide the desired amount of urea to the farmers.
