Bijapur: Primary health Centre operating in Kutru under the Bhairamgarh block of the district is benefitting a large population of the area now.
Bijapur Collector Ritesh Agarwal told “ In the month of May it has been functional and presently it is a health and wellness centre. The health centre has a ten-bed internal patient room, ensuring 24-hour health facility availability. It also has an excellent facility for pregnant women. The centre also has a ten-bed New Born Stabilization Unit for new-borns. They also provide counselling related to mental and physical development. Now villagers need not have to trek several kilometres for their health care”.
“Villagers of this area, praised the health services available in Primary Health Center Kutru. The District Hospital Bijapur is about 40 km away from here so many people are benefitting from the upgraded advanced health care primary centre to rural people. In case of emergency, this health centre is proving to be a lifesaver for patients” Ritesh Agarwal Added.
The medical officer Dr Devendra Morla, posted here is ensuring proper services at the centre. The health centre has an inquiry centre, ambulance, dispensary room, and an external patient room. The health centre provides quality breakfast food to the patients admitted here for treatment. The pathology labs have also received a recent appointment of technologists. In this remote area, an ambulance and the Mahatari Express are also available for an emergency services. A blood storage unit is also under process which will be set-up soon.
