Bilaspur. A case of gross negligence at CIMS, Bilaspur, has come to light. CIMS management did not give beds to Urmila Dubey sick old lady, because of VIP culture and protocol. The hospital management had reserved the beds for the MLA, who is perfectly healthy, in advance. Urmila Dubey died at the hospital. Her son, Jitendra Dubey, an employee at the hospital, has exposed the whole incident on social media. He has shared his WhatsApp chats where he beseeched Bilaspur MLA, CIMS founder Trupti Nagaria, Superintendent Dr Aarti Pandey for help. He also shared pictures of empty beds. Jitendra Dubey, son of the deceased Urmila Dubey, has exposed the VIP culture at CIMS.
Regarding this incident, BJP leader Gaurishankar Shriwas said that it is a sad and bitter thing. The incident makes it obvious how the ruling party MLAs misused their position and power. Has the Chief Minister talked about 20% reservation in hospitals? An honest, dutiful, poor employee who works at the CIMS Hospital lost his mother even though beds were available. The hospital management did not allow a dying woman to use them; because the hospital kept them in reserve for the MLA. This incident has exposed the true, inhuman face of the Congress party and also their discriminatory mindset.
He further added that the police should register a case of homicide against those responsible. The family of the deceased should also get some compensation.
