Raipur: Lending a helping hand in the fight against Covid-19, ICICI bank has handed over Hi Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) machines to health minister TS Singh Deo.
A delegation of ICICI bank officials met health minister TS Singh Deo at his residence office on Friday to hand over the machines.
The minister said on the occasion that these machines will be sent to all the six government medical colleges in the state. He thanked ICICI Bank for their assistance saying that the bank has greatly assisted the government and the people of the state during the crisis of global pandemic. It is a time to protect the lives of people suffering from corona and serve humanity. In such a period, the bank has discharged its social responsibilities by providing medical resources costing about Rs 3.50 crore.
Health services director Neeraj Bansod was also present on the occasion.
Meanwhile, the bank has also provided a total of 150 oxygen concentrator machines in tribal dominated tehsils of the state as well as 50 in Raipur district, 20 in Mungeli and five each in Korba and Janjgir-Champa districts for treatment of Covid-19 patients. The bank has provided 150 sanitizer dispensers across the state. The bank is also helping to set up an oxygen plant at Gariyaband district. Besides, the bank will also provide three TruNat machines and body freezers at Kabirdham, four phototherapy machines, digital X-ray machines and ECG machines at Gaurella-Pendra-Marwahi and ten multipara monitors at Gariyaband.
