Raipur: Alleged Medical negligence led the doctor of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Raipur advises getting a four-year-old girl’s leg amputated.
As per official sources, Rimsa Qureshi, a resident of Jashpur district was getting treatment at a hospital in the district after developing early signs of epilepsy. However, her one leg completely stopped functioning while getting treatment. When bought to AIIMS Raipur, the doctors advised getting the girl’s leg amputated on Saturday.
Rimsa hails from an underprivileged family and the girl’s mother Rukhsana Qureshi is fighting the battle all alone. Financial constraints have become the foremost hurdle in the treatment of little girl.
Soon after getting the information about the case, BJP leader Gourishankar Shrivaas rushed to AIIMS Raipur. He provided all the financial help required to the girl’s family and also assured of all possible help from his side. He also shared the same on all the possible social media platforms appealing to people to help the victim.
The girl's mother told that after that they had gone to Ranchi too for treatment but in vain. She said that I will fight for my daughter till her last breath.
