Delhi:In an announcement by the CBSE; cancellation of the 10th board exams and postponement of the 12th boards have brought yet another bitter-sweet development in the present pandemic.
while some backbenchers are celebrating; some are bawling their hearts out for their first chance to be labelled as an academic genius has been washed away .
As they say; it takes an entire village to raise a child. It has been an overwhelming experience for each and every person involved in this. From the teachers who have tried their best to do what it takes to finish their course on the online platform to the parents who have had their (hidden) hopes and aspirations pinned to this. But given a choice, each and every parent would rather want their children to be safe more than anything else. So this decision of canceling the exams is a sigh of relief for almost all if not all the parents.
Each and every nook and cranny of the country is now gripped by the virus. These exams are avoidable. By far this decision is not uniform in all states as some states have completely canceled the exams and some have just postponed and yet in some North-Eastern states the exams are as per schedule.
More than a million students are going to be affected by this decision of the Boards.
It looks like a very positive step towards curbing the spread of the virus until the time things fall in place and we attain some normalcy ..
This decision is a perfect example of “sar salamat toh pagdi hazaar!”
Keep yourself safe and pray for everyone.... this too shall pass.
