SRK's Meer Foundation donates 2000 PPE Kits to Chhattisgarh

Raipur: Meer Foundation—an NGO run by renowned Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan has donated 2000 personal protective equipment (PPE) kits—the basic safety gear needed in the fight against Covid-19—for corona warriors in Chhattisgarh.

Praising the contribution of King Khan in the Chhattisgarh’s fight against Covid-19 pandemic, Chhattisgarh chief minister wrote on his official Twitter handle “The Meer Foundation, an NGO run by renowned Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, has provided 2,000 PPE kits to Chhattisgarh for fighting Covid-19. I thank the Meer Foundation for its contribution in this huge fight.” 





Chhattisgarh health minister TS Singh Deo wrote on his official Twitter handle “I express my heartfelt gratitude to @iamsrk & @MeerFoundation for providing PPE kits to protect our frontline warriors. Thanks @rajshriartist for connecting us and making this possible. Your generosity has inspired many more to protect our healthcare heroes.” He also posted acknowledgement receipt of the donation provided by the NGO.



Retweeting Singh Deo’s tweet, the Bollywood actor wrote on twitter “Sir, We all are trying in whatever capacity we can to help our brothers and sisters to overcome these hard times. Wishing you the best with these endeavors too.”





Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan has already announced many initiatives to support the country in this fight against covid pandemic.
