Raigarh. In the year 2020, India fought back against the corona epidemic. The Officers, who adopted unique methods for an awareness campaign; were instrumental in keeping people safe. Bureaucrats India has chosen such IAS and IPS officers across the country who, even during these difficult times, prioritised their duty for the sake of the general public.
Two IPS officers from Chhattisgarh are in this list. Recently, IPS officer Dipanshu Kabra, the Transport Commissioner, started a help chain to deliver supplies to the poor during the pandemic. Dipanshu Kabra's prudence and community policing helped people in acquiring essential things like food, medicines etc.
He also used Twitter in the best way during the epidemic by connecting with people through social media. Dipanshu Kabra was the one who launched 'Community Policing', a campaign to improve Police and Public Relations. Bureaucrats India has also given this award to Santosh Singh, another IPS and SP of Raigarh. Santosh Kumar Singh, the SP in Raigarh district, launched 'Raksha Bandhan Ek Raksha Sutra Mask' campaign on Raksha Bandhan during the pandemic for public safety. SP Santosh Kumar Singh distributed around twelve lakh masks during this campaign, which is a world record.
