Covid infection rate further declines in Chhattisgarh, 0.65 percent at present: the lowest infection rate this year

Raipur: As a result of the effective measures taken by the state government, Covid situation in Chhattisgarh is continuously improving. The rate of infection in the state has declined to 0.65 per cent at present, which is the lowest infection rate this year. This year, the lowest rate of infection in January month was 1.55 per cent, in February it was 0.89 per cent, in March the lowest infection rate was 0.81 per cent, in April it was 11.3 percent, in May it was 3.7 per cent and in the month of June the lowest infection rate was 0.97 per cent.

Out of the 38,731 samples tested on July 14, 252 people were found Covid infected in Chhattisgarh. No new cases of infection were reported in Rajnandgaon and Bemetara districts. In 21 districts of the state, the infection rate has now come down to less than one per cent. In the remaining seven districts, this rate ranges from 1.13 per cent to a maximum of 2.33 per cent. At present, the number of active cases of corona in the state is 4028.
