Raipur. Today Health Minister TS Singhdeo reached Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Memorial Hospital, where he took a thorough overview of the newly constructed development works. He said each wing should have different arrangements. Maternity wing for the treatment of women, for her examination before and after delivery, along with three operation theatres. Sitting arrangements for doctors, consultation chambers, storerooms, changing rooms for doctors are near the operation theatre. He said that there is a need to increase the facilities for institutional delivery even more than the facilities available at present.
During the inspection of the oxygen plant, Health Minister TS Singhdeo said that the facility of 30 beds per ward is available in the hospital; every ward-bed has an oxygen facility.
Along with the expansion of facilities, the health department is paying attention to quality. The government could not foresee that, so many people would come, although a separate wing would run in Kalibari. There is a plan to increase the number of ICU beds on the upper floor.
