Raipur: At least four people were killed after a fire broke out in a private hospital in the state capital on Saturday. The hospital is treating COVID-19 patients. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel expressed deep condolences to the deceased and their families and announced Rs 4 lakh each who were killed in the fire broke.
As the fire reportedly started, District Collector Dr. S Bharatidasan and Superintendent of Police Raipur Ajay Yadav have reached the spot, they are personally monitoring the situation and have been providing help and assistance work there. In this accident, one patient Ramesh Sahu has died due to the burning of fire, and 3 Patients Ishwar Rao, Vandana Gajmala, and Devika Sonkar have died of suffocation respectively.
