"Bhoomka" short film to debunk myths and clear Covid vaccination related misconceptions among tribal population of state

Raipur: In a bid to debunk myths and misconceptions regarding corona vaccination among people especially the tribal population of Chhattisgarh, a short film named “Bhoomka” has been released by Chhattisgarh governor Anusuiya Uikey.

While launching the film based on corona vaccination, the governor conveyed best wishes to all the cast and producer of the film Sanjay Bhardwaj.

The governor said on the occasion that the production of a short film based on vaccination during the corona pandemic is a commendable work. All the characters have acted well in the film. In addition, the filming work has been done very well, which brings a lively touch to the film. Through this, awareness will come in tribal society and in rural areas and confusion regarding vaccination will be removed among them. This will encourage the rural and tribal population of state to get inoculated.

She added that vaccination is the main weapon to conquer Corona. Even after getting vaccinated, the general public should follow the rules like physical distance, wearing masks and washing hands. With the coordinated efforts of all, we will be able to get rid of corona pandemic soon.

Film producer Sanjay Bhardwaj said that there are various misconceptions regarding vaccination in tribal and rural areas of the state. This short film has been produced to clear those misconceptions. To bring alive the film, it has been shot in the village itself and the support of local artists has also been taken. It will be broadcast on OTT platform and other mediums. All possible efforts will be made to show this film in rural and tribal areas to debunk corona vaccination myths among the rural population.

The Governor also felicitated the artists on the occasion. On this occasion, Sagar Bhardwaj, Badal Bhardwaj, Ajay Gupta, Manohar Masatkar and Manya Sah were present.
