Raipur. Jindal Steel & Power Limited, led by Naveen Jindal, Raigarh is taking a further step in production achievements, strengthening the credibility of the district on the industrial horizon of the entire country. Now the blast furnace of the plant has created a new record of highest production in a day. COO Chhattisgarh DK Saraogi congratulated the team on this achievement.
JSPL Raigarh's Blast Furnace-2 succeeded in producing 4635 tonnes on 14 December 2020, the highest single-day production since the establishment of the blast furnace in October 2006. The blast furnace produced 3.17 tons/day / cubic meter, which is the highest production level achieved by any blast furnace of this size across the country. On this achievement, JSPL COO Chhattisgarh Dinesh Kumar Saraogi reached the blast furnace and congratulated Chairman Naveen Jindal and the entire team on behalf of the management. He said that this furnace has been consistently performing well since inception. This record is possible only by working hard, dedication and dedication towards the entire team. He also inspired everyone to continue similarly.
Blast furnace chief Arvind Kumar Bhagat attributed this achievement to the continuous guidance of the higher management, stating that on 14 December itself, Blast Furnace 1 and 2 jointly succeeded in producing 7345 tonnes of record. In the week between 8 and 15 October, Blast Furnace 2 recorded its highest production with 36008 tonnes and a combined highest production level of 57675 tonnes by combining Blast Furnaces 1 and 2. He said that this was possible only due to the hard work and planning of the entire team.
