Raigarh. Dr Ved Prakash Patel, director of Ganga Nursing Home, has filed a complaint against unknown people for cheating and fraud. The fraudsters tricked the Doctor's daughter into giving twenty-six lakhs- sixty-eight thousand rupees for admission in Ranchi Medical College.

The cheats first won over Dr Patel's wife and then asked the daughter to submit documents for admission. They claimed that they could get her admitted to a Medical college in Ranchi. Dr Patel bought into this deception and transferred twenty-six-lakhs-sixty-eight-thousand in various instalments to an account. He also gave additional fifty thousand rupees for Challan. They also received a fake admission letter. 

According to the details given by Dr Patel, the conmen took twenty-one lakhs in cash and the rest was deposited in Shahika Merched Private Limited. The company has an account with Laxmi Vilas Bank in Alipur, Kolkata. On November 5, both the accused came to Raigarh and took the money from Dr Patel. On November 24, Dr Patel again went to RIMS Campus with the receipt, NOC and other documents given by the conmen, which the college declared as fake. After which Dr Patel complained to the Kotwali police station.
