CM Bhupesh Baghel to unfurl the tricolor in Raipur on I-Day

Raipur: Magnificent celebration of Independence Day will be held across the state on August 15. Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel will unfurl the tricolor at the main I-Day function to be organized at Police Parade Ground in Raipur.

On the occasion of Independence Day this year, Assembly Speaker Dr. Charandas Mahant will unfurl the tricolor at the main I-Day function to be organized in Koriya District Headquarter and Deputy Speaker Manoj Singh Mandavi will unfurl the tricolor in Kondagaon District Headquarter. In other district headquarters, ministers and parliamentary secretaries will administer the flag hoisting ceremony and read the chief minister's message to the people of the state.

State Government's General Administration Department has issued the list of chief guests for flag hoisting ceremonies to be held in various district headquarters of the state. As per the list released Home and PWD Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu will unfurl the national flag in Mahasamund.

Minj in Balrampur, Vikas Upadhyay in Bemetara, Mr. Rekhchand Jain in Sukma, Indrashah Mandavi in Dantewada, Vinod Sevanlal Chandrakar in Dhamtari, Chintamani Maharaj in Jashpur, Dwarkadhish Yadav in Gariaband, Shishupal Sori in Bijapur,. Parasnath Rajwade in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, Shakuntala Sahu in Surajpur, Gurudayal Singh Banjare in Narayanpur, Dr. Rashmi Ashish Singh in Balod and Chandradev Prasad Rai in Janjgir-Champa district headquarters. These dignitaries will read the chief minister's message to the public after unfurling the national flag, at the Independence Day functions to be organized on August 15.
