Film and Television Institute of India undergoes restructuring.

IIMC DG professor Sanjay Dwiwedi has become the member of the newly form Society of FTII. The form society is Governing Council of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune. FTII is affiliated to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, has been reformed today.The Society and Governing Council are headed by noted film director Shekhar Kapur and vice-president film actor Satish Kaushik, whose name was announced by the Ministry of Information Broadcasting sometime back.

Now restructuring the Society and the Governing Council, apart from Director-General of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Prof. Sanjay Dwivedi, Doordarshan Director General Mayank Agarwal, many film personalities including actress Kangana Ranaut, Divya Dutta, film director Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Rajkumar Hirani, lyricist Prasoon Joshi, singer Anoop Jalota, and actors like Danny Denzogapa will be part of the fraternity.

The Film and Television Institute of India serves as an autonomous institution of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, which operates through a society. Only members from the society serve in the Governing Council which takes all the policy decisions of the institute.
