Raipur. Forty more ambulances will run in the state to transport patients. These additional ambulances will operate in inaccessible areas of the state. The Health Department has directed the entities currently operating 108-Sanjeevani Express ambulance service in the state for the same.


Director of Health Services, Neeraj Bansod, in a letter to the Administrators operating the ambulance service in the state, asked them to ensure the same. He has mentioned in the letter that the institution will get one-lakh 33 thousand 350 rupees per ambulance per month. They have joined with district and civil hospitals, community and primary health centres in remote areas to provide ambulance facility in inaccessible areas.
