Raipur. DGP DM Awasthi spoke to the Commandants of all the 22 battalions of the state and the Superintendents of the Police Training School on video conferencing to know about the health of more than 23 thousand police personnel. The DGP said that all policemen should go about their duty with caution while being alert to infection. He instructed officers to take care of their families along with the police force. Many young people stay away from their families in companies. In such a situation, you should be in constant contact with the relatives of all the soldiers. Make them available immediately if there is any need; this will keep the morale of police personnel. He said that in this time of crisis, one must keep in mind the human aspect.
The DGP directed that all the battalions must have an isolation centre. The officers who come in contact with an infected person will remain there. The commandants informed that they have arranged for isolation in a barrack. Almost everywhere, the soldiers have also got the second dose of vaccine, which decreased the severity of the disease. Most of the jawans are recovering in home isolation.
The DGP said that the youth who have missed the vaccination should also be motivated to get the vaccine.
The DGP said that the battalion in which are short of funds should inform immediately. Immediate funds will be made available. In the absence of facilities, no jawans should face a dangerous situation.
All Commandants and Superintendents of Police are doing commendable work. All of you should also take care of yourself, your health and the health of your family members.
