Raipur: Taking a jibe at chief minister Bhupesh Baghel, BJP national vice president and former chief minister Raman Singh said that a “one man show” is going on in the state.
Words and advice of the cabinet ministers and MLAs are neither considered nor heard here. In such a situation, the development of the state is nothing more than a fantasy.
Replying to his remarks, chief minister Bhupesh Baghel said that only the MLAs and ministers are running the government in Chhattisgarh. His government is not like the BJP, which was run by the officials. In two years, the people of the state have seen how the government runs.
Baghel said that his government had promised the farmers that they would give a support price of Rs 2500 per quintal in lieu of paddy, on which their government still stands and the farmers of the state are getting the full benefit. Be it providing employment to the youth, better health facilities, or education, the government has given importance to every aspect. His government is not running like a blind devotee of officials.
