
Raipur: Raipur police has issued 93
permanent and arrest warrants on Monday night during its special drive to curb
crime in the state capital.
As per official police sources, the
accused were presented before the court after serving 84 warrants of permanent
offenses and 9 arrest warrants from different police stations.
Deputy Inspector-General of Police
and Senior Superintendent of Police Ajay Kumar Yadav had given instructions to
all police gazette officers of the Raipur Police, station in-charge to issue permanent warrants and arrest warrants to curb the increasing crime in the
city. Following this, under the leadership of additional superintendent of
police Lakhan Patale along with all the city superintendents and police station
in-charge of their respective divisions and their respective forces conducted a
combing patrolling across the city on Monday night to take action against the criminals.
After the patrolling, the accused were arrested and presented before the court after serving 84 permanent warrants for separate serious crimes and 9 arrest warrants from different police stations. This campaign of Raipur Police will continue in the future to curb crime in the city said the police sources.
