Raipur Air Traffic Control Tower creates a record of handling 16 flights within one hour after fog lifting

Raipur: Raipur Air Traffic Control Tower on Thursday created a new record of handling 16 flights within one hour after fog lifting. 

The team comprised of three air traffic controllers including senior manager Anil Ekka, assistant manager Aditi Arora, and junior executive Sanjula Jaiswal.

Among the 16, 12 were scheduled aircraft movement and 4 were helicopters carrying out casualty evacuation by Indian Air force.

Raipur airport director Rakesh R Sahay lauded the efforts of the team and presented them with an appreciation letter under his signature.
